Uncertainty for Tata Steel workers as sale of plant postponed

British steel workers are facing further uncertainty, after the Indian company Tata Steel announced it is to postpone plans to sell some of its UK operations, including the Port Talbot plant.

The firm had been considering several bids for its British assets but instead is seeking a partnership with a German manufacturer.
