How FTSE 100 bosses got a 10% pay rise

The average pay of FTSE 100 chief executives rose by 10 per cent in a year to £5.5m, while staff pay has remained "pretty flat", according to figures put together by the High Pay Centre.

The centre's director Stefan Stern tells the Today programme what lies behind the disparity and what could be done to address it.
