How is India embracing cashless trading?
Indians are still desperately trying to get their hands on cash after the government abolished high denomination rupee notes, which made up nearly 90% of the currency in circulation.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi says the process will put pressure on people hoarding money earned through illicit and untaxed activities. The government estimates only 1% of India's population pay income tax.
So what options are out there for India's cash-driven economy, and how far can you shop without cash? The BBC's Sameer Hashmi went to find out in Mumbai.
