Shareholder calls for Sky takeover transparency

Rupert Murdoch is planning a bid for the broadcaster Sky. There is no formal offer yet, but last week Murdoch's 21st Century Fox said it was in talks with Sky for a bid pitched at £10.75 a share that values Sky at £18.5bn.

But Royal London Asset Management's Richard Marwood tells the Today programme Sky’s independent directors should make public the advice they have received on the offer.

He says this will help other shareholders understand if £10.75 is a fair price.
