British Airways to cut legroom on some planes

British Airways plans to reduce the legroom on their planes to the same amount as Easyjet.

Simon Calder, the Independent's travel editor, tells BBC Radio 4's PM that many airlines are adding more rows of seats on their planes.

He says customers should not complain as the UK enjoys some of the cheapest air fares in Europe.
