Cuts threat to outdoor learning centres

For many children outdoor education centres are their first opportunity to experience the fun of the great outdoors, but now it seems council run centres could fall victim to government cuts.

Some have already closed and the future of many others is in doubt.

Teaching unions are warning that children, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, could miss out on vital experiences.
