Should carers be able to look after more children?
A report from the think-tank CentreForum says rules on childcare should be overhauled to make it more affordable.
At the moment there has to be one minder for every three children under the age of five but the Conservative MP Elizabeth Truss who wrote the report, suggests the ratio should be changed to one adult for every five children.
BBC Radio 5 live's Victoria Derbyshire spoke to MP Elizabeth Truss and asked Jane Comeau, a childminder in Tunbridge Wells, what she made of the proposed ratio changes.
