Lone parents' group awarded £7m

A scheme to help Scotland's poorest lone parents back to work has been awarded a £7m grant from the Big Lottery Fund.

It is hoped the project, called Making it Work, will help lone parents overcome the double disadvantage of arranging childcare and having a lack of employment experience.
