Gove wants 1950s curriculum, says NUT man

The National Union of Teachers (NUT) is expected to confirm plans for strike action and will hold a vote of no confidence in the Education Secretary Michael Gove.

Ian Murch, a member of the NUT Executive told the BBC that Michael Gove is intent on turning the curriculum back to the 1950s.

The organisation has also called for the resignation of Ofsted chief Sir Michael Wilshaw over claims he is demoralising teachers.
