Trojan Horse inquiry: 'Shocking' attack on school - governor

Park View Educational Trust has said it will mount a legal challenge to Ofsted reports, carried out after allegations that Islamic extremists were taking over schools in Birmingham.

Park View, Golden Hillock and Nansen have all been placed in special measures.

The Vice Chair of the Trust, David Hughes, said Ofsted inspectors had been ''looking for extremism and segregation, and proof that children had religion force upon them''.

''The speed and the ferocity with which the school had been condemned was truly shocking,'' he added.

However, a leaked draft report by the Education Funding Agency (EFA), said the Park View schools had "taken the Islamic focus too far".
