Almost a third of secondary schools 'not good enough'

The Chief Inspector of Schools in England, Sir Michael Wilshaw, has said that there are now 170,000 pupils in inadequate secondary schools, about 70,000 more than two years ago.

In his annual report he said standards have stalled and too many schools have problems with disruptive pupils.

Alex Forsyth reports from New Charter Academy in Tameside, a school which Ofsted says requires improvement.
