Election 2015: Ed Balls talking about non-dom status
A Labour government would abolish the non-domicile rule that allows some wealthy UK residents to limit the tax paid on earnings outside the country, it announced on Wednesday.
But speaking to BBC Radio Leeds reporter Daragh Corcoran in January, the shadow chancellor said: 'If you abolish the whole status it will end up costing Britain money because some people will leave the country."
