Election 2015: NHS needs more doctors and nurses, says Jeremy Hunt
The Conservative Party has announced plans to inject an extra £8bn into the NHS in England by 2020, if it wins the upcoming election.
But Labour said the "unfunded" pledge was a sign of a Tory campaign in panic. It has promised an extra £2.5bn a year, funded by a "mansion tax".
Speaking to BBC Breakfast, Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt said that extra money was needed to pay for more doctors and nurses - to help cope with growing demands on the NHS.
