Election 2015: Opposition leaders in debate clash
The leaders of Labour, the SNP, UKIP, Greens and Plaid Cymru have taken part in a pre-election debate - without David Cameron or Nick Clegg.
The Conservative leader was criticised for refusing to take part in the event while Ed Miliband faced attacks from both the left and right.
Mr Miliband sought to distance himself from the SNP but Nicola Sturgeon urged the Labour leader to "be bolder".
Deputy political editor James Landale reports.
UK viewers can watch the debate in full on the BBC iPlayer.
