UKIP 'now the third party in Wales' - Nathan Gill
The leader of UKIP in Wales has said his party is now the third in Wales, beating Plaid Cymru into fourth place in terms of share of the vote, despite not gaining a single MP there.
Nathan Gill told BBC Wales' Good Morning Wales: "We lost every single deposit five years ago - we are now the third party in Wales."
He said under a first past the post system they had not benefited from the share of the vote the party received but added: "In the assembly elections, there is proportional representation as well as first past the post. We will get representation there."
