Lib Dem manifesto: Tim Farron pledges new referendum

Lib Dem leader Tim Farron has launched his party's manifesto with the promise of a new EU referendum.

"There was nothing on the ballot paper last June that said we were choosing to pull out of the single market," he told supporters in east London.

"We voted for a departure, not a destination."
