Will Trump's Bill Clinton digs earn back female voters?

After a decade-old tape emerged of Donald Trump making lewd comments about women, the candidate has renewed discussions about Bill Clinton's troubled relationship with women.

In a late-night apology, Trump said: "I was wrong, I apologise" for comments he made in 2005 about groping women and trying to have sex with a married woman. But, he noted "Bill Clinton has actually abused women" and Hillary Clinton had enabled this behaviour.

But will attacking the Democratic nominee for the actions of her husband win him favour with female voters?
