Frieze art fair opens in London

The annual Frieze Art Fair has opened at a huge marquee in London's Regent Park.

Doors were opened to VIPs including rich collectors on Wednesday, a day before the general public is allowed in.

Over 170 galleries, of varying sizes, are exhibiting this year, with works covering a huge price range.

Curator Daniel Baumann and fair coordinator Matthew Slotover spoke about the importance of the fair in the contemporary art calendar.
