Danny Boyle on new film '127 Hours'
Danny Boyle's new film, '127 Hours' tells the dramatic true story of Aron Ralston - a Utah mountaineer who in 2003 fell into a canyon, and trapped for more than five days only managed to free himself, by cutting-off the lower part of his arm.
Director Boyle explained that he wanted to make this film before Slumdog Millionaire, but couldn't get agreement from Aron Ralston to make the film in the way he wanted to. It was only after the success of Slumdog that things moved on, and Hollywood gave funding for the movie.
