Chris Moyles sets a Radio 1 record for longest broadcast

BBC Radio 1's Chris Moyles and Comedy Dave have broken the existing record set by Simon Mayo for broadcasting the longest ever BBC Radio 1 show.

By 7.30pm they had raised £1,009,033 for Comic Relief.

They are now trying to set a new Guinness World Record by carrying on broadcasting until 10am on Friday - that would be 51.5 hours.
