Ronan Keating to swim in Irish Sea charity relay

Singer Ronan Keating has revealed he is to take part in a relay swim across the Irish Sea to raise money for his cancer charity the Marie Keating Foundation and Cancer Research UK in September.

The former Boyzone frontman also told BBC Breakfast he would begin shooting his first film, Goddess.com, in Australia later this year, while acting as a judge for X Factor there.

The Irish musician was speaking ahead of the release of his new album, a collection of Burt Bacharach songs entitled When Ronan Met Burt.
