Test driving classic movie car Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

The four-wheeled star of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is set to be sold at auction in California this weekend.

More than 40 years since captivating audiences in the film, the iconic car is still in full working order.

It comes at a time when there is renewed interest in the old banger - earlier this year it was announced that a sequel is being written to the author Ian Fleming's original novel.

Ahead of the sale, the BBC's correspondent in Los Angeles, Peter Bowes, took Chitty for a test drive.
