Jason Donovan on his Strictly Come Dancing 'journey'

The actor Jason Donovan, who first shot to fame in the UK alongside Kylie Minogue in Australian soap opera Neighbours, has been revealed as one of the celebrity contestants on this year's Strictly Come Dancing.

At a showcase event, he explained to Colin Paterson why he is competing on the programme this year.

Saturday's launch show will see the stars matched up with professional dance partners, with whom they will attempt to swing and shimmy their way to the final in Blackpool.
