Helen Mirren on 'bolshy' Brits and Hollywood films

Dame Helen Mirren talks to Andrew Marr about her new film "The Debt"; a Nazi-hunting thriller which also explores conscience and guilt.

She discusses cocaine use, Shakespeare's female roles and the film industry's "love of youth and beauty". The actress is currently making a film about Phil Spector's trial, with Al Pacino as the lead role.

Speaking about the UK riots this summer, Mirren said the British are "savages", and it was this "bolshy spirit" that "makes us good at wars".

Andrew starts by asking Dame Helen Mirren whether "The Debt" was an old-fashioned thriller in vintage Hollywood tradition.
