Ken Dodd entertains on Blackpool's Comedy Carpet
A homage to more than 850 of the comedians and writers who have made the UK laugh, has been unveiled in Blackpool.
The "comedy carpet" features the catchphrases, jokes and names of comedians including Les Dawson, Frankie Howerd and Tommy Cooper.
It has been crafted from granite and concrete and placed at the foot of Blackpool Tower.
The BBC's Ed Thomas was entertained by one of the best-known stars who also feature on it, Ken Dodd.
