Degas' Little Dancer up for auction in November
The world famous sculpture Little Dancer, by Edgar Degas, is expected to fetch between $25m and $35m when it comes up for auction next month in New York.
It took the French Impressionist three years to finish the piece and is the only sculpture he ever exhibited in his lifetime.
Conor Jordan, Head of the Impressionist and Modern Art department at Christie's, explains more about the unique statue and the girl with the "rough and tumble" background it was modelled on.
