Lauren Child teams up with a 'mathematical genius'

Lauren Child, the award winning children's author of Charlie and Lola, has embarked on a longer book for teenage readers.

Look into My Eyes stars teenage detective Ruby Redfort - who was introduced in the Clarice Bean series.

The author told BBC Breakfast that Marcus du Sautoy assisted with creating complicated codes for Ruby Redfort in the book.
