Shakira gets Hollywood Walk of Fame star

The Colombian pop star Shakira has been honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

She told fans gathered at the ceremony that her mother had predicted she would be a star when she first came to Los Angeles as a child.

"I want to say to all of you to dream as big as you can," she said.
