Fassbender on role as a sex addict

Michael Fassbender talks to the BBC's Talking Movies about his role as a sex-addicted New Yorker in the film Shame.

The role, which strips Fassbender naked both physically and emotionally, won him the best actor award at this year's Venice film festival.

He spoke to Tom Brook about what he thinks about the man he is portraying in the film.

Talking Movies is broadcast on BBC World News on Saturday at 13:30 GMT and is repeated on Sunday at 00:30, 07:30 and 20:30 GMT.
