American Pie characters in their 30s

The successful franchise of American Pie is back with its latest instalment, America Pie Reunion.

The original gang of Jason Biggs, Chris Klein, Thomas Ian Nicholas and Eddie Kaye Thomas star alongside Michelle Flaherty, Seann William Scott, Mena Suvari and Tara Reid.

Biggs and Scott were also executive producers on the project, 13 years after the first American Pie hit the big screen.

Scott said: "Being executive producer was just really about me and Jason helping this movie get made and just developing the story and stuff because once the movie started everybody was of equal importance on the set."

The directors, Hayden Schlossberg and Jon Hurwitz said the focus of the film was to develop a real sense of what the characters would be like in their thirties.
