Robin Gibb "a stubborn fighter" - Mike Read

Robin Gibb fought stubbornly against his cancer, friend and DJ Mike Read has told the BBC Radio 5 live's Stephen Nolan.

The Bee Gees' singer died aged 62 after a long battle with colon and liver cancer.

Mr Read described him as a "great mate" and said it was difficult to believe that he would not be seeing Robin Gibb again.
