How Alfred Hitchcock's first film has been restored
Alfred Hitchcock's debut feature film, The Pleasure Garden, has been restored by the British Film Institute (BFI) as part of its celebration of the film-maker.
The 1926 silent film has also been given a new score by Daniel Cohen as part of a project that includes the restoration of nine of Hitchcock's surviving silent films.
BBC News went along to the BFI archives to better understand the restoration process.
