Festival goers 'frustrated' in traffic

The rain has caused chaos for music fans heading to the Isle of Wight festival.

Many were forced to sleep in their cars as waterlogging on the festival site led to traffic gridlock.

It left some ferries unable to dock on the island last night, and people are being advised to leave their cars on the mainland.

Sian Bradley spent the night in a campervan with two of her friends. She told BBC News ''it's absolutely chaotic here'', and that she was frustrated that they had been given no information, and had no idea how much longer it would take.

Ms Bradley added that she would not go back next year.
