Tamsin Greig: Mid-life crisis in Jumpy

In the play Jumpy, which opened this week at London's Duke of York's Theatre, Tamsin Greig plays Hilary, an anxious 50-year-old middle-class literacy teacher going through a mid-life crisis with a teenage daughter going off the rails.

Her stroppy daughter Tilly is played by Bel Powley, while her sex-starved best friend Frances, played by Doon Mackichan, has taken up burlesque dancing.

Jumpy, by April de Angelis, originally ran at the Royal Court last year.
