Time capsule buried as work starts on new Design Museum
A time capsule has been buried at the new location of London's Design Museum, to mark the start of building work on the site.
The former Commonwealth Institute in Kensington, a landmark 1960s building which has lain empty since 2002, is being redeveloped as a much larger home for the museum.
The capsule contains items chosen by leading designers and architects, including a light bulb, a Team GB cycling helmet, an iPhone and a tin of anchovies, amongst other things.
