Shared worries of theatre future

Stage director Sir Trevor Nunn has said he 'shares the worries' of Sir Ian McKellen over the future of British regional theatres.

Sir Trevor, who is currently directing Kiss Me Kate in London's West End, told Andrew Marr he fears cuts to art funding in Britain are "short-sighted" and now is the time to invest in local and repertory theatre companies.
