Comedian Johnny Vegas on why comedians make good actors

Johnny Vegas is a regular on our TV screens, appearing in programmes like Benidorm, Bleak House and, most recently, Mr Stink. But now the comic is getting behind the camera to direct for the BBC.

Johnny has directed an episode of the daytime drama Moving On. It's called That's Amore and stars fellow comedian Jason Manford.

He spoke to BBC Breakfast about comedians turning to acting and why he keeps his alter ego at bay.
