Richard Curtis on his malaria film for Comic Relief

Richard Curtis has written a "serious movie" to highlight the spread of malaria in certain countries in Africa.

The writer of Four Weddings And A Funeral and Love Actually got the involvement of Hollywood actress Hilary Swank and Brenda Blethyn, who play two mothers brought together by the loss of their sons to malaria.

Mr Curtis told BBC Radio 5 live's Richard Bacon that he hoped people viewing this film, produced for Comic Relief's 25th year anniversary, would be motivated to stop malaria deaths rising.
