The art of the five-word acceptance speech

The 17th annual Webby Awards take place tonight - they are sometimes known as the internet equivalent of the Oscars - and honour the year's best websites, and online films and videos.

John Crace, who writes the Digested Read features in the Guardian newspaper, explains that one thing they are known for is their five word limit on acceptance speeches.

He said that if the speech is boring "it's over really quickly".

First broadcast on BBC Radio 4's Today programme on Tuesday 21 May 2013.
