Highlights from the BET awards

The BET Awards took place in Los Angeles at the weekend with performances from Snoop Dogg and Stevie Wonder among others.

Rihanna picked up Best female Pop artist and Nicki Minaj went home with Best Female Hip Hop artist.

The standout performance of the evening came from singer Charlie Wilson who collected the lifetime achievement award. He appeared on stage to perform with Snoop Dogg and Justin Timberlake.
