Bond gun among Hollywood auction lots

The iconic Walther handgun used in posters for the original James Bond films is going up for auction in California.

The pistol - which was actually stand-in after no one remembered to bring a gun on the day of the original photo shoot - is expected to fetch at least $200,000 (£132,500).

Unpublished photos of Marilyn Monroe are also being auctioned.

Joe Maddalena, from Hollywood memorabilia auctioneers Profiles in History, explains the significance of the items.
