CBBC viewers vote for new Blue Peter presenter

Blue Peter has revealed its newest recruit, graduate Lindsey Russell, who has beaten 20,000 other hopefuls in a TV contest to join the TV programme.

She only graduated from the University of Bristol last week, but will now become the show's 36th presenter, after being voted for by CBBC viewers.

Ten wannabe presenters took part in the programme's search for a new host in a series called Blue Peter - You Decide!
