Stars at The Butler premiere in New York

Stars have gathered on the red carpet for the New York premiere of Lee Daniels' The Butler.

Oprah Winfrey, who stars in the film, attended alongside the director Lee Daniels and the film's lead star Forest Whitaker.

Whitaker stars as White House butler Cecil Gains in the historical drama.
