Dr Feelgood's Wilko Johnson: 'Every day now is a gift'
Guitarist and founding member of the 1970s British R&B group Dr Feelgood, Wilko Johnson, was diagnosed with cancer at the start of 2013 and told he had six months left to live.
Speaking to the BBC's Jon Sopel, he said that he has decided to live in the moment and make the most of the time he had left, which so far has included playing a series of farewell concerts and releasing a new album.
He also described a visit to Japan, which he said was one of his favourite places.
"Every day now is a gift," he said.
