Elmore Leonard talks about his writing
Prolific crime writer Elmore Leonard has died at the age of 87
The author of such books as Get Shorty, Maximum Bob and Out of Sight, he had been in the process of writing his 46th novel when he suffered a stroke and was admitted to hospital earlier this month.
A statement on his official website said Leonard had died on Tuesday morning "surrounded by his loving family".
