One Direction premiere: Fans flock to Leicester Square

Thousands of One Direction fans have packed Leicester Square for the world premiere of a documentary about the band.

One Direction: This Is Us charts the meteoric rise of the boy band, who have achieved huge global success since forming on the UK X Factor in 2010.

Speaking on the red carpet, Simon Cowell also broke his silence about his impending fatherhood, confirming that he is expecting his first child with New York socialite Lauren Silverman.
