Strictly Come Dancing: Vanessa Feltz 'inordinately excited' to take part

Broadcaster and DJ Vanessa Feltz is the first celebrity to be confirmed for Strictly Come Dancing 2013.

Zoe Ball, presenter of Strictly spin-off programme It Takes Two, made the announcement on Radio 2's Breakfast Show. The remaining celebrities will be unveiled on BBC One's The One Show on Monday 2 September.

Feltz, 51, who also hosts a programme on Radio 2, said she was "inordinately, devastatingly and disproportionately excited" to be taking part.
