Hobbit hair scare for Stephen Fry
It has been described as "one of the great comb-overs of cinema history", but his latest film hairstyle was a labour of love for Stephen Fry.
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug make-up team have transformed Fry into the grotesque Master of Laketown, a role the actor has described as "fascinating".
It is the second film in The Hobbit trilogy - but Fry's first venture into director Peter Jackson's Middle Earth.
Fry has talked to the BBC's Nick Bryant about his adventures there.
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug opens in cinemas across the UK on 13 December
