Radio 1 DJ Pete Tong honoured with an MBE

DJ Pete Tong will be awarded an MBE for his services to broadcasting and music

Tong is one of Britain's most recognised DJs and gained a large following of fans from his Essential Selection programme that aired on BBC Radio 1 between 1991 and 2006.
