The winners of this year's Oscars have been talking about their success back stage at the Academy Awards.

12 Years A Slave director Steve McQueen quoted the title of a Van Halen song to sum up how he was feeling, whilst his co-producer Brad Pitt said the film's message spoke to everyone.

Best actor Matthew McConaughey, actress Cate Blanchett, best supporting actress Lupita Nyong'o, supporting actor Jared Leto and best director Alfonso Cuaron were also on hand to talk about their wins.
